Description of the need

We need to send an automatic reminder to the customer to review or confirm the quotation. This reminder could be sent 'N' number of days after. 

Solution

Steps
  1. Create an email template for the reminder
  2. Create an automatic activity for the quotation sent status
  3. Create an automatization to sent the email based on date field

As we don't have a field to set the date when the quotation has been sent, we will use the field 'Next activity deadline' (activity_date_deadline), the previous automated activity has set the date at this field with the 'N' days for the reminder. 

Note: This flied is hidden at the view but can be shown with studio customization


Considerations
  • If a new activity is created with different date it will change the "Next activity deadline"
But if the user has another activity ´To-Do' you can just send the reminder manually, right? for this client automation is no needed.
