hi community

i'm looking on how to have the french format when printing invoice.

Date format is in french in the application but in english in PDF

i notice that PDf format date depend of "Customer properties --> Sales & purchase --> Language"

probleme is that my customer wass originaly created in english, now that i revert this setting to french, PDF invoice still in english

notice that i've installer OpenOffice report designer

any help will be apreciated

Hi Jeebee,

Go to Setting-> Translation -> Load a language -> Overwrite Existing Terms(=True) -> Load.

Create a new invoice, his date's will be in french.

I've got formatlang in rml report

strange things is that for customer originaly created with French language invoice report are printed in french, but for customer originaly created in english, report still in english even if i turn customer language in French

i speak about language in Customer detail properties and not language in Configuration/language who is since the beginning in french

Hi JeeBee,

Please check you have included the keyword "formatlang" on the date field in the report RML file. This takes the date format as defined in your language settings else it takes the default date format. Using "formatlang" should solve the issue.
