Jakub Smolka has spent the last 8 years finding smart ways how to help various organizations grow by business process optimization and implementing IT systems. In 2017, he fell in love with ERP system Odoo and now he leads, raises & trains a team of business analysts and consultants at Port Cities (an Odoo Gold Partner). He has consulted more than 25 various sized Odoo implementations in various Asian & European countries.
This talk will cover; implementation methodology and implementation in phases using the business case of 3Sach Food. 3Sach Food is a Vietnamese chain of stores with high-quality food & ingredients. The implementation started in the fall of 2018 and was delivered step by step, in different implementation phases:
1) 3Sach Food started using Odoo for the main business processes - procurement, inventory management, point of sales, sales & invoicing. This phase covered the main operations.
2) After the main business process was covered, the implementation continued with manufacturing app (to cover the operations of the kitchen studios) & accounting (financial management & controlling)
3) In the third phase, 3Sach Food focused on enhancing their Odoo for HR & marketing functionalities. They also used the Covid-19 as an opportunity to start selling their goods online through Odoo E-commerce.
Jakub will be sharing his expertise about implementations for SMEs, including answers for these frequently asked questions: Why to divide implementation into several phases? Odoo Enterprise or Odoo Community - which one should we implement for the client? How to make your implementation a success?
