You can inherit the write() method :-)

If tack_visibility does not work, you can check in the parameters sent to the write() method. For example, if you cant to track changes on the field 'image':

@api.multi

def write(self, vals):

if 'image' in vals:

self.message_post(....)

return super(MyModel, self).write(vals)
