In 2019, Oman Energy Association has been licensed by the Ministry of Labor has to establish and host the Energy & Minerals Sector Skills Unit (EMSSU), as part of OPAL’s active pursuit to fulfill its vision, and its aspiration to attain excellence in uplifting the industry performance though the development and application of Industrial and Occupational Standards and Best Practices, that aim to promote, develop, and nurture the capabilities of Oman’s national talents, and to equip them with the right skills and knowledge to support a sustainable development of the Sultanate’s economy.
