we have a customised instance of open ERP designed by us, Our countries rules doesnt allow us to host the financial data of our company on the cloud, is it possible to have a local instance running which handles all our finances/stock and have a diffrent instance on the cloud that handles the website and e-commerce?
Maybe you can host the database server on a local machine, and a webserver from the internet connecting to your database server.
In that case you may be abble to circumvent the requirement of your country to not have the financial data on the cloud (e.g. it's on your database server). But you will need to maintaine two servers and a dedicated connection, so I don't know if that's a possiblity for you.
