How to keep project.task column without task

Question

Hello community.

I need to create a project.task column but when there is any task in the column this dissapear.
In the commercial flow there is the same tool for task and you can create the column and after no task, the column still there.
Are there some option to keep the column in project even withou task?
Version: V9.0c Community Edition.

That is not happening with out version. We will try to update our version and I see what happens.

I actually just tried this on runbot, using the Community Edition.
I created a new column, dragged it to the left, exited the project, then opened the Project Tasks back again.  It was there:

Perhaps you need to update your code?  I remember very early in the release this may not have been working.
