Hi everybody!

I'm looking for some module that allows connections to external database sources using the 8.0 version. I realized that there is a module that seems to allow doing this functionallity:

But is not available for 8.0 version, despite of it seems to have been available some time ago.

Could somebody tell me if there is any other module available for 8.0 version with a similar functionallity or if can I get the menctioned module for 8.0 version anywhere?
