Is there a link between planning and projects/Tasks/subtasks

We are running an evaluation demo now. We will need the ability to create tasks in Project that will be linked to resource loading in Planning.
Is there a workflow? What functionality is available?
Hello Ivan,
We can create different project and tasks from Project and Field service modules. Planning module helps us to organize these projects and tasks.
Planning module helps to build our employees' shift and helps to track the number of hours they have worked.
Also, it helps us to check the availability of our employees and their offs and holidays before assigning them to any project or tasks.
We can create different shifts if we are in a 24/7 working company using Planning module.

I have the same/a similar question. How can we get tasks, on which we have a start and an end date and planned hours in the planning in stead of just a shift.
All of my consultants have just full time shifts during week time, I would like to see some tasks/subtasks on their planning. How can I achieve this?
