V17.1e Query Regarding Profit and Loss Report Grouping in Odoo

Question

Hello all,

I am currently working on generating a Profit and Loss report in Odoo, and I'm grouping it by Analytics Accounts and Analytics Plans. I would like to group the results I obtained for the report by all similar GL accounts (For example all Donations, Grants, Expenses...).

Is it possible to do this grouping in Odoo? Could you please give the steps we need to achieve this?

Additionally, I would like to know if there is a way to include Net Profit in the generated Profit and Loss Report

For grouping the accounts in Odoo, we have an account Groups option which can be helpful.
Firstly create the Account group as mentioned in the below image:

You have to go inside Accounting> Configuration>Accounting Reports> go inside the Profit and Loss account
Keep the account groups as enabled by default and then save it. It will work.
