I am preparing an excel form for supplier evaluation in Odoo. I am using the export feature to pull the data I need and have come across a problem I am having trouble solving. I need the vendor name for the orders that come in and it has been more difficult than I thought to get this field. When I use the export feature I end up with what I believe are the calls to the information in my sheet rather than the information itself. For example, Company/Name gives
| base.main_company instead of a value. I have found that Partner/CompanyName gives me the information I need. I have a few vendors that do not have any information exported under Partner/CompanyName. They are consistent in this behavior which makes me think they are missing some information in their profile, but I have not been able to find any fields that are missing. They have a name and I can look them up just fine. Does anyone know where this information can be entered so that the export I am using would work better? I would like to now have to enter this information manually if it can be avoided. Failing that, maybe there is a field I can export that I may have overlooked that will give me names for all of the entries? So far I have been able to pull and link most of the data that I need.
