There is no need for additional management of any core/default Odoo records*.
PostgreSQL scales successfully to hundreds of thousands of Users and billions of records (multiple petabytes) and Odoo leverages this technology.
*there are some very specific cases where additional indexes can be useful, but for 98% of Users, Odoo performance on large databases "just works" without ay additional management needed.
