R&D - Developer
Josse spent several years as a technical director in a company developing warehouse management solutions. He has a wide knowledge of both the business side as well as the core development of Odoo. After joining Odoo in 2012, he began working with the R&D team on projects including payment follow-up, FIFO, and of course warehouse management. After some work on the IoT Box, he has now been working for several years on Accounting Localizations, specially electronic invoicing.
More and more, Odoo needs to comply to the electronic invoicing requirements of the different countries in the world to further conquer the markets. However, when a new requirement comes around, we can rely on a lot of code that already exists. The primary worry is not on how to make the connection anymore, what to do in case of timeouts or where and how to store the certificates, but on how we can make it easier for the user to support the often complicated laws.
The goal is to bring some ideas to the table, such that if you have to start a new requirement yourself for your favorite country, you do not have to feel like starting from scratch either.
