How to (re-)implement Odoo after a major merger of a financial institution

Henri has a background in Business Engineering and Corporate Finance and is currently COO and Mauritius Country Manager at Kick and Rush SA. He oversees the implementation of Odoo and other IT tools that make up the digital landscape of Kick and Rush. Having acquired experience with ERPs, procurement, and reporting software at previous employers, Henri is in an excellent position to evaluate Odoo’s place on the market from a technological and business perspective.
After the bankruptcy of his former employer at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, Henri discovered Odoo. The company that took over had started an Odoo implementation while everyone had to work from home. At the time, the company used three ERPs – two on local servers, one in the cloud – a warehouse management system, and more than 50 webshops.
Even if the situation was precarious due to the many dependencies between the various tools and integrations, the choice was quickly made to switch fully to Odoo. We were convinced by Odoo's solid basis and wide array of tools. For example, with Chatter and other collaboration tools, employees could easily communicate and access the same information remotely. Thanks to the quick implementation, the transition from the various ERPs and tools to Odoo went smoothly.
