The National Association for Helping Young People in Marriage and Family Guidance in Jeddah (marriage) was established in 1409 corresponding to 1989, in the city of Jeddah under the supervision of the Ministry of Labor and Social Development, with registration No. (361).

It is a non-profit organization which supports the facilitating marriage, rehabilitating young men and girls, and supporting them through community and voluntary partnerships, and the scope of its services is in Jeddah and its administrative subordinates.

Since I started working for the community and joined Zawaj, it was my mission to make Zawaj fully automated using one of the best ERP systems. After intensive research and analysis, I concluded that Odoo being open source will be the right choice, hence we chose Odoo and started implementing; it was quiet a milestone for us to understand and implement default Odoo without doing major customization to the core process.

One of the challenges was to find a charity that was fully automated with a single ERP, hence we took the risk and agreed to implement Odoo because of the flexibility it provides. We found a proper way to automate all processes of charity on Odoo with a perfect way that got all authentications and acceptance of financial outputs from the governmental audit organization.

There were certain things that we needed to customize and integrate with Odoo apps, and by the grace of God we succeeded, and for the last year and a half we have been working only on Odoo.

Odoo being open source supports the customization and integration - it is the most value-added feature any ERP can provide.

We would definitely recommend Odoo to the Nonprofit and Charity Sector.
