Iva Recine Sanayi Biyokutle AS was founded in December 2015 in Izmir, Turkey to produce wood rosin. In June 2016, company moved to its current address to current factory in front of Balikesir-Kocaseyit International Airport.Iva is the sole wood rosin producer in Turkey. Wood rosin production is eco-friendly, after fell of forest pine stumps left behind contributed to economy.
Stumps of pinus brutia pines are used as raw material. Firstly, stumps chipped and miscella extracted after extraction of chips with hexane. Hexane evaporated and separated from miscella and crude wood rosin extract obtained.
In 2018, company will invest in derivatives production of crude wood rosin and with fractional distillation colophony, turpentione, pine oil and pine tar will be obtained.
