Juan de Dios Mencía López, IT manager of Compañía Financiera, S.A. in Honduras, mentioned that, when he joined the company in November 2020, they were looking for a solution to manage their payroll. After extensive research online, COFISA contacted D2i Solutions, an official Odoo partner in Honduras that specializes in helping companies gain a strategic position in their markets through digital strategies.
"I traveled to Tegucigalpa to visit D2i's offices, where I met with Jeffrey Castro. They offered us the Payroll module, and we also got to discover the CRM module. In the future, we plan to implement the Purchase and Inventory modules," said Mencía López.
Odoo's Payroll Module
Odoo Payroll is used to process work entries and create payslips for employees. In addition, it integrates with more of our apps, such as Employees, Time Off, Attendances, and Planning.
The Payroll app helps ensure there are no issues or conflicts when validating work entries. It also handles country-specific localizations to ensure payslips follow local legislations and taxes, and allows salary assignments.
Finding a Solution with Odoo
COFISA was looking for a comprehensive administrative solution that would allow them to integrate their information, particularly accounting. They found in Odoo a versatile platform capable of adapting to their accounting needs.
Juan de Dios Mencía stated that, after researching several options, the company chose to use Odoo's Enterprise edition due to its extensive catalog of available modules and the ability to adapt its processes to local regulations. At first, they were only looking for a payroll management solution, but as they explored Odoo's features, they began implementing other modules, and plan to integrate more later.
