I want to use variants but I need some clarification, on the use of case of multi-attributes.

For example, if I want to use 2 sizes (S,M) and 2 colours (white, grey), but just need the couples (S, white) and (M, grey), I see that I can delete (S, grey) and (M, white), but I can't recreate them cleanly in case of need. Is there any clean way to add existing attributes in a existing product template ?

Of course, in my case I would use only 5 or 10% of the possible combinations, but may need to add some deleted couples or triples ?

How should I manage ?
