Hi,

Sorry in advance if this question has been asked 1000 times...

First.. So I've cloned odoo/odoo and done some setup (following instructions) and it's running what looks like the Community Edition.

So my first question is, installed this way, would upgrading be possible?  Is there any downside to running this way?  I could have downloaded the installer from the Odoo site.. but I like this method of running from the cloned repo.. so if we want to work on changes we can easily do so, or if we want to see how something works we can...  Is there any downside?

Second, what is the difference between Community and OCB.  I understand that OCB gets fixes from the community before the Community Edition gets them, but what I'm reading is that both repos will (eventually) get all fixes, is that true?

Are there modules that OCB has that Community Edition will never have?  If the people in the community develop a module that's true open source, independently of commercial Odoo, will that module appear in the list of available modules in Community Edition?  Or will they only appear when running OCB?  Or, will they not appear at all without manual installation?

I have searched around but I can't find a clear explanation, would appreciate a point in the right direction, thanks!
