This talk looks at the use of Odoo Enterprise for groups of companies and the advantages that the system offers for such organizations.

To set a clear focal point, which can be adequately dealt with within the scope of the talk, we will concentrate on one of the most important business aspects for multi companies: accounting.

For this purpose, we will let our customer Knime AG have their say and report on how they use Odoo Enterprise to manage the accounting in their three companies in Switzerland, Germany and the US. They will talk about how Odoo Enterprise helped them to ensure local compliant accounting for those three countries, to handle intra-group transactions, and - probably most importantly - to achieve consolidated accounting for all three of their companies.

Key Learnings - The audience will be presented with answers to questions such as:

What are Odoo Enterprise's accounting capabilities?

How does Odoo Enterprise handle multi-company accounting?

Which intra-company automatizations does it allow for?

How does Odoo Enterprise handle the consolidation of multiple entities?

Intended target audience:

The talk is primarily intended to highlight the multi-company accounting features of Odoo Enterprise. It is aimed at large to mid-sized company groups or individual companies considering branching out.
