Journal entry to add as a payment method

Create a journal that will be add in pos session as a payment method, and check option "PoS Payment method" to available journal as payment method.

Stripe Payment Checkout

Installation of module creates a "POS Payment" menu in POS. Payment Acquirer lists payment acquirer available in systems, and Payment Transaction have all order details.

Payment Checkout Configuration

To configure stripe payment create an account in stripe and add secret key for configuration. Then after select the POS journal that have created for payment method.

Configure POS Session

Add payment method that we have created as journal in POS session and start a new session.

POS Session

Customer selection is mandatory. create order and click on Online Payment button. On click of button it will check two parameters that company currency is supported by stripe and the customer is selected or not.

Card Details

Enter the card details and submit payment.

Order Receipt

Successfull submition of payment generates a receipt of the order.

Send mail to customer with E-Receipt

It sends the confirmation mail to customer Mail-Id with attached E-Receipt. The Outgoing Mail server must be configured.

Transaction Details

Details of order such as customer information, order reference, and acquirer order reference are store in payment transaction list.

Account Entries

Creates a journal entry of order in selected journal of Stripe Payment method.

All the transactions are listed in stripe Payment menu.

The stripe package is required to integrate Stripe Payment. Find the requirements.txt file for dependencies.

Worked for me and and screenshots were quite good and explaining .

No customer will give their credit card details on the point of sale.
