Facebook Pixel Events
Track Website Activities, Improve Your Return on Advertising, Reach New and Existing Customers
With this module, you can activate the Facebook Pixel event Contact on the Contact Us webpage and add the event "ViewContent" to any webpage (except e-commerce shop product and category pages).
Configuration
To configure, follow these steps:
- Go to the Website - Configuration - Settings menu.
- Activate Facebook Pixel option.
- Enter Tracking ID.
- Save the changes.
The Facebook Pixel base code will be activated on all webpages (with the base event: PageView).
Note: You will not see the Facebook Pixel script if you are logged in to Odoo and you have Website editor's access rights.
Module Features
The event Contact
To activate the Facebook Pixel event Contact:
- Go to the Website - Facebook - Quick Setup menu.
- Select the website if you use multi-website in your Odoo.
- Activate the standard event Contact.
The event Contact code will be added on the page Contact Us. It will be fired on the clicking button Send.
The event Complete Registration
To activate the Facebook Pixel event CompleteRegistration:
- Go to the Website - Facebook - Quick Setup menu.
- Select the website if you used multi-website in your Odoo.
- Activate the standard event Complete Registration.
The event CompleteRegistration code will be added on the Sign Up page. It will be fired on the clicking button Sign up.
After clicking on the button Sign up the Pixel will be sent.
The event ViewContent
To activate the Facebook Pixel event ViewContent:
- Go to the Website - Facebook - Website Pages or Website Views menu.
- Select a page to add a new event.
- Create the event ViewContent and add the event properties if needed.
The event ViewContent code will be added on the webpage. It will be activated on the visiting the website page.
