PSD2 Compliant Bank Statement Import

Get a reliable and up-to-date view on all your bank account movements

The app provides a minimal-effort, reliable and up-to-date view on all your bank account movements in odoo and hence ideally supports your day-to-day accounts receivables and cash-flow tracking.

The presented solution shows how account movements of current accounts and credit card accounts can be automatically imported, classified and reconciled in odoo. The logic is equipped with a self-learning algorithm.

The app conforms to the EU regulation "Payment Service Directive 2" commonly known as PSD2 and is integrated with the payment provider interface finAPI. finAPI supports all relevant German and Austrian banks.

Additional data sources (bank connections) are available upon request.

You need an additional finAPI ACCESS Enterprise Contract to use the service. Start immediately and test all finAPI® features for 30 days free of charge. More information is available under www.finapi.io.

Description

The service module "Bank Connector finAPI" enables downloads of account balance and bank account transactions (in the following "financial data"), credit card accounts and other providers (in the following "financial service provider") for a registered end user (in the following "end user"). The downloaded data is then saved on a server, provided by finAPI and passed to requesting odoo instance.

Retrieval of account transactions and balances takes place with FinTS/HBCI-interface HBCI V2.2 resp. FinTS 3.0 provided by the banks, if the bank supports the PIN/TAN procedure. Other means of retrieval include screenscraping or direct API access.

In order to retrieve financial data the client allows the finAPI a once or ongoing read access to the bank accounts, credit cards or other accounts on his behalf and also grants the right to utilize the data for the described purpose. Here, access data is supplied for identification and authorization to the online banking resp. to the applicable payment service. The data is supplied encrypted from the client's server to the finAPI server and to the bank resp. the financial service provider. After authorization is complete, all financial data which is available online to the bank or payment service is then transmitted to finAPI and saved on the finAPI server. The data retrieval and subsequent data processing takes place asynchronously and can sometimes cause time lag during data transmittance. finAPI can determine the criteria to prioritize the asynchronous process.
