Product Barcode Labels Printing on ZPL

Allows to print custom product barcode labels on ZPL / ZPL II printers.

Module Features

Allow to create own ZPL labels (functionality of the OCA module "Printer ZPL II")
Three label templates included (sizes: 1.5 x 1 inch, 2 x 1 inch, 3 x 1 inch)

Product Barcode Label Templates

Product Barcode Label 1.5 x 1 inch

  • Size: 38 x 25 mm (203 dpi)
  • Data: Product Name (3 rows), Internal Reference, Barcode

Product Barcode Label 2 x 1 inch

  • Size: 51 x 25 mm (203 dpi)
  • Data: Product Name (3 rows), Internal Reference, Barcode

Product Barcode Label 3 x 1 inch

  • Size: 76 x 25 mm (203 dpi)
  • Data: Internal Reference, Price, Currency, Product Name (4 rows), Barcode

Configuration

Follow these steps to configure:

  • Go to the Settings - Printing - Servers menu.
  • Create a new Printing Server.

  1. Enter the Server IP address (or leave the default value localhost).
  2. Enter the port of server (or leave the default value 631).
  3. Click on Update Printers to get the list of connected to the server printers.

Set the default printer to allow automatic selection in the label wizard:

  • Go to the Settings - Printing - Printers menu.
  • Select the necessary printer.
  • Click on Set Default.

Set the default label template:

  • Go to the Settings - Printing - ZPL II Labels menu.
  • Select the necessary label template.
  • Click on Set Default.

Usage

Follow these steps to print on a ZPL printer from the label wizard:

  1. Select the output destination ZPL.
  2. Select a printer.
  3. Select a label template.

  • Click on Print to print labels.

This module is ilegal, not respecting licenses.

This module is ilegal, it depends on an AGPL module (https://apps.odoo.com/apps/modules/12.0/printer_zpl2/) and the AGPL license need to propagate to all derivative work. Thefore, this cannot be a propietary/paid module...

You are right, this module has the AGPL-3.0 license and depends on the module "Printer ZPL II". We respect and do not violate this license.
