Docusign Configuration
Get Docusign login credentials from DocuSign
Configure docusign credential, Add API key, User Name, Password to Odoo
Oauth login URL generation
After click on "Authorize" button, Oauth login URL is generated. Go to that link and accept the permission.
Create template
Select model and report name for creating a template. In Docusign Configuration tab, Select docusign configuration.
Edit pdf for adding tabs in document
Clicking on Edit template button, A pdf file will open with the different tabs on left side panel. Drang and drop the tabs where you wants to display it.
Finding Text and Add Tab On That
Clicking on find button on the pdf viewer, this wizard will open. Enter text on which you want to add tab and select a element.
Template lines
Template lines will be created for every tab in the pdf.
In Dynamic Placeholder Generator tab, Select email and name field from selected model. Copy Placeholder expression in Email field and Partner Name field respectively.
Add Action Context
Clicking on smart button "Add Context Action", Template is added in the selected model Action.
Upload Document
Click on that action, A wizard will open for upload document. Select partner email, name and template.
Core for Send / Fetch documents
If document is in ready to send state, then "Send now" button will display while create document. If you don't want to click a button, a cron will be executed.
Cron is executed after every 30 minutes and send document if a document is in Ready to Send state.
Mail send to the partner
After clicking on "send now" button or executed a cron, A mail will be send to the partner for signing a document.
PDF file in the mail
Singer will sign in the pdf file where the signed tab displays. Add company name of signer and today's date will automatically be displayed.
Customized template
If template is customized, Check the checkbox "Is customized" template. After checking a checkbox, select a partner, docusign configuration detail and upload a document on which you want to put customized tabs. Click on "Edit Template" button, Put tabs according to you.
