Paid pdflayer Service
This App allows you to use the pdflayer service located at https://pdflayer.com for printing/generating pdf reports. That means you don't have to depend on built-in or by default service of wkhtmltopdf library and you can allow the system to use the paid pdflayer service for better reports. The documentation of pdflayer is located at https://pdflayer.com/documentation.The configuration and some guidelines for this App is listed below.
General Configuration
You have to set two system parameters (Menu : Settings -> Parameters -> System Parameters) for this app to work. One is the 'high.quality.pdflayer.base.url' with its value 'http://api.pdflayer.com/api/convert' and second is 'high.quality.pdflayer.api.key' with its value will be the API Access Key of your account at https://pdflayer.com.
Configuration For Password-Protected Site
You have to set two more system parameters (Menu : Settings -> Parameters -> System Parameters) for this app to work with password-protected site as some http requests from https://pdflayer.com need to read images and css files from the site for generating PDF files from html content as they generally contain data like images as urls. These two system paratemters are 'high.quality.pdflayer.auth.user' and 'high.quality.pdflayer.auth.pass' for setting up the pdflayer's 'auth_user' and 'auth_pass' parameters.
User Access Configutation
There are two types of the access are available for giving the access of the pdflayer service to system users:
1. Giving the access of pdflayer service to All System Users
2. Giving the access of pdflayer serivce to some Specific System Users.
Paper Format Configuration
Here, You can set the different parameters in the paper format's form view and those parameters will passed during the http calls to https://pdflayer.com for generating pdf files from html content.
Example
Now, every request to the wkhtmltopdf will be redirected to the paid paflayer service for generating pdf files form html connent.
