What is a unit, a user*month and a GB*month?
Answer

1 unit = 1 user*month.

In our pricing model, we propose you to choose from a selection of packs of units. A unit is the access of one user during one month to the system. If you purchase a Pack 24 Units and have 4 people using the system every month, you will use your 24 units in 6 months. Then, if you don't change your plan, you will automatically purchase a new Pack 24 Units and start using it the next month.
If, for some reason, 1 user doesn't use the system during 1 month, you will have 1 unit left at the end of the 6 months and the automatic purchase will grant you 24 additional units, making a total of 25 units.
It can really be considered as available minutes on a prepaid phone card; you are charged based on what you use.

A GB*month is the use of 1 GB during 1 month. In the previous example, if the 4 people use 2.7 GB during their first month, 3 GB*month will be removed from the 24 available ones. If you use up all your 24 GB*month before using all your user*month, 5 €/GB*month will be automatically purchased.
It can be considered as a 3G plan on top of your prepaid card that would allow you to surf online up to a certain download quota.

What is an active user?
Answer
A user is considered active when its "active" box has been checked at least once during a month. If a user is inactive during a whole month, it will not cost any user*month. This is particularly useful if your company is closed during certain periods of the year or if a user takes a maternity leave.
In any case, it will be the best way to control your costs.
What are the available payment methods ?
Answer
You can pay using a credit card (VISA, EUROCARD, MASTERCARD) or with a bank wire transfer. The secure online payment is processed by Ogone.
What's the payment process ?
Answer
You receive a PRO-FORMA invoice at the end of the month, according to your use of the Odoo services. The invoice is payable within 21 days. If you are not satisfied with Odoo, you are free to not pay our invoice, we will not charge you anything. Once the PRO-FORMA invoice is paid, you will receive the final invoice by email just after the payment.
If you do not pay the invoice after 4 reminders, your account will be deactivated but will be reactivated automatically after the payment. We keep the data for 3 months after an account is closed, unless explicitly requested by the customer.
How can I check my monthly usage and invoice ?

You have an access to real-time daily statistics on your Odoo usage page through the control center:

  • hours of use by instance,
  • hours of use by day or users,
  • monthly invoice amount,
  • space used by server, etc.
